1. Mana/life condition window<br>
Shows how much mana, life and stamina your character has. <br>
Red bar represents life, blue bar represents mana, yellow bar represents stamina.<br>
2. Tags/Pots<br>
Shows the duration of any pots or tags you have used<br>
3. Mob Information<br>
Click on monster (mob) to view its level, type and life.<br>
4. Buff/Debuff<br>
Shows the type and duration of any buff or debuff your character has<br>
5. Fury Window<br>
When this bar is full you are ready to unleash your fury. See Fury Guide for more details<br>
6. Quest Tab<br>
Click the + for more information on your current quest<br>
7. Mini Map<br>
You can see where you are on the mini map.
NPC: Green dot
<br>Mob: Red dot
<br>User: White Arrow
<br>Character of opposite allignment: Black dot (only in war zones like DeadLand)
<br>Party Member: White dot
<br>Your current position is shown by co ordinates X and Y under the mini map. Left click to enlarge map, right click and hold on large map to move around it
<br>Also whenever you are near NPCs you will notice that some are Orange dots. Orange dots show you which NPC has an available Quest for you. When a NPC is flashing Green/Orange this means you need to talk to this NPC to continue/complete a Quest.
8. Shortcut Bar<br>
The shortcut bar is a quick way to access potions, skills, amulets etc. Drag and drop the item to the shortcut bar to set a key. Every bar has 7 slots and there are 3 shortcut bars available. Use the shortcut keys by clicking numbers 1-7 and switch shortcut bar with F2, F3, or F4.

9. Chat Window<br>

10. Whisper List<br>
Players you have whispered will be listed here. Select the name from the list to whisper to that player again. To whisper to a player of your choice press ctrl-right click on that person and select whisper. You can also click the name of the player in the chatscreen or type the exact name into the chatscreen. When the cursor is in the chatbox and you have whispered with other characters in this session of MH you can select another character by using the up- and down-arrow.<br>
11. Chat window functions<br>
Used to control the size (larger or smaller) of the window.<br>
12. Quick launch window<br>
Click to access the various game functions. <br>
From left to right: Character information - Party window - Skill window - Quest window - Inventory window - Guild window - Vending window - Friend list - Map - Option window - Help Window - Macro - Heroes Market

13. Channel Changing Buttons<br>
Services several language channels and other chatmodes. Default setting is the general English channel where it's only allowed to speak English. Other languages can be spoken by checking the box (to receive messages) and to highlight the channel you want to use. (The channel you are in will always look a bit different than the unselected channels.) Other modes are guild, party, shout and whisper. <br>
14. Battle Mode<br>
Click here to select Battle Mode or Peaceful Mode. Also this Battle/Peace mode will change automatically. (i.e When you are in Peace mode and a mob a.k.a Monster attacks you, you will automatically be become in attack mode. <br>
Detail Interface
Chatting
- Normal: Chat freely within your area.
- Guild: Chat to guild members only
- Group: Chat to group members only
- Shout: Chat with one u can say to all people in game(requiter item to use:Karma notice amulet)
- Whisper(Private Messaging, PM for short): Chat with an individual, click on whisper button and enter players name and hit space bar and write. Or click on players name in chat box and click whisper button
System interface
Option window (Escape or O)
Here various options can be modified.
Set hotkey and Set default functions are not available yet
Other character options
- Whisper refuse: Refuse to hear other’s whisper
- Dual request refuse: Refuse to PvP.
- Personal trade refuse: Click if you do not wish to trade.
- Party refuse: Check if you don’t wish to party.
- Equipment check refuse: Check if you do not wish other players to view your equipment
Set name options
- Display all: Click Check this option if you wish to see all guild, NPC and booth names
- Display only player name: You can only see the player’s name.
- Display only monster name: You can only see the monster’s name.
- Display only NPC name: You can only see the NPC’s name.
- Hide booth name: In the village there is a vending booth, click this and you will not see the booth name.
- Hide guild information: Guild information can be distracting when it comes to hunting. With this option guild information will not be displayed.
Graphic effects
Change your graphics setting to high, medium or low depending on your computer specifications.
Sounds
- You can control Monster and Character sound effect, Background music etc here.
- Monster and character sound effect: The sounds related to the monster and character.
- Sound effect: The sounds related with the area (sounds of the waves crashing and insects buzzing).
- Background music: Background music according to the area.
Character information window
In character information, you can see your character status, occupation, attack power, defense power and features and add status points to the various attributes
Status Points.
- When a character is created it has 10 strength,10 Dexterity, 10 Vitality, 10 Intelligence and 10 Agility, with 5 bonus points for you to distribute.
- Weapons and clothing need certain status points for you to wear them.
- 3 Status points are awarded each time you level up, with 2 bunus points given every 12 levels. You can distribute these points yourself depending on your character class and the weapons and clothes he is to use. Always check your next level of clothing and weapons to make sure you will have enough status points to equip them.
Each status has its own value
- Attack power: It depends on strength and dexterity
- Defense: It depends on vitality
- Life: It depends on vitality
- Mana: It depends on agility and dexterity
- Stamina: It depends on agility and vitality
Character information
- Name: Character name
- Extra name: Name given to Characters with highest fame rank
- Occupation: Shows current occupation (e.g. LM = Lawful Mage) hover mouse over for full title
- LV: Your characters level
- Str, Dex, Vit, Int, Agi: For each item you can see how many points are invested in each status.
- Attack power: Shows the attack power of the character
- Defense power: Shows the defense power of the character
- Fame: Shows the fame count of the character
- Feature: Shows the character’s type (Lawful, Evil, Neutral)
- Guild: Only the character that is a member of the guild can use it. The name of your guild is shown
- Guild Position: Only the character that is a member of the guild can use it. Your position in the guild is shown
- Guild Grade: Not available

Inventory window shows the weapons, clothes and items you have equipped on your character and items you carry in your inventory (bag)

Item equip window
To equip items drag them from the inventory on to the picture of your character
Inventory
- Inventory is the space for items that you pick up or need for hunting (ie pots) and carry with you
- Inventory displays the amount of money. 1000 bronze is 1 silver and 1000 silver is 1 gold. Any character can carry a maximum of 2000 Gold in his inventory. If you want to have more then 2000 Gold on your character, then you can exchange gold for Goldbars at the Money Exchanger in Valley Village.
- VP: Vending points acquired whilst vending, these are used to buy certain items
- Destroy: If you click an item and click destroy the item is destroyed
- Vending: Clicking this sets you up with a vending stall.

Skill window
Press S and you can see the skill window. In skill window, you can see the path of where your skill is heading.
- The top tabs show the different weapons for your class, only skill for one weapon or you will run out of skill points
- Common skills are for use by all weapon types in your class
- Skills on the left column are sub skills. These are required to learn the main skills.
- First row is level 12 skills and then new skills can be learnt every 12 levels
- Skill point are shown at the bottom of the page, once skill books are read ( by right clicking on them) you need to add points to the skill to make it work
Skill Combo's
- Nearly all skills are available for a Combo except the basic skill, passive skills and the "Summon Monster" skill.
- When using a combo things as Mana, Life, Stamina and reaction time are instantly used for each skill that is activated in the combo.
- A skill can only be used once in all combo's. But while used in a combo, a skill can also be used individually in the Short Key bar.
- Depending on the level of the character, the number of combo's and skill slots in each combo differs according to below table.

- To fill a combo with skills follow the following steps:
- Press the shortcut key S to get the skill window
- Click the buttom Combo in the upper-right corner of this window
- Click and drop the right skills from the Skill window into section B of the Combo window
- After placing all skills press button C. In section A icon(s) will appear which can be selected and dropped into the Short Key bar
- Press button D when finished
- Use button E for moving the combo window

A combo must contain a minimum of 1 skill.
Remove a skill from a combo by right clicking on it.
Interaction Menu (CTRL + left click)
Ctrl and left click on any player and an interaction box appears showing several functions
- Trade: Allows you to trade with that player, to trade items or coins. When trading, view the item by holding your mouse over it, if it is what you want to buy, click OK (both people). The maximum amount of cash that you can pay while trading is 1 bronze less then 1000 G. You can use Goldbars to increase the amount of money involved in trades.
- Check equipment: Allows you to see the other players equipment
- Request battle: Allows you and one other player to battle (PVP) without loss or penalty after level 10. Battle has to be agreed by both players and does not end until one player dies or logs out.
- Invite to guild: Allow Guild Masters, Sub Masters and TA Masters to invite a player to their guild, providing you meet the requirements
- Invite to party: Allows you to invite another player to party with you (group) once you reach level 10. This will bring up a party box to the left of your screen showing party members and their levels, life and mana. Party can hold up to 8 players. You can not join a party if you are 10 levels above the highest party member or 10 levels below the lowest party member.
- Set position: Allows Guild Master to set the position of his members providing they meet the requirements
- Secret telling: Allows you to whisper to that player
- Register friend, register disregard list: Adds that player to your friends list or to your disregard list
- Brotherhood: Invite other player to become your Sworn Brother. More details in the Brotherhood) guide
- Master and Disciple: Allows you to invite a player to become your Master if you meet the requirements
- See User Profile: Opens a browser window allowing you to view the players forum profile
